Informational Questions

Do you have any previous experience writing or blogging?

I used to write a little bit in my high school’s newspaper. I was in charge of covering sports for the newspaper. I wrote many pieces for the games that our football team played in.

What other priorities or obligations do you currently have?

I am attending college and have a part time job planting apple trees. I have classes every day from 8 AM until 2 PM Monday through Thursday. I usually plant apple trees on Saturdays from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Why did you become a Baltimore Ravens fan?

I became a Ravens fan because I grew up in the greater Baltimore area. When I became interested in football I naturally flocked to the Ravens, as they are my home town, team. Ever since then I have been a huge fan of the team.

Why do you want to write for The Baltimore Feather?

I want to write for The Baltimore Feather because I want to contribute to a community, in the Baltimore Ravens, that has given so much to me. I feel that I am a very capable writer, and can produce great pieces about the team I love.

Do you have any specific preference to the type of material you would be writing? (Examples: news stories, opinion pieces, analysis pieces, draft scouting.)

I can do all of it, but since I am in college, I think draft scouting might be best suited for me. I go to my universities games all the time, and I can easily keep track of both our team’s players and visiting players that the Ravens may want to target in the upcoming draft.

How many articles would you be available to write each week on average?

I could probably do 2-3 articles per week. The best days for me to write would be Friday and Sunday as I have no obligations on either of those days. I could write 1-2 articles on those days, or maybe even find time after classes to write an article.
